Taking Our Stand — Keep Calm & Crochet On, Yarny Bobs & Dear Ewe

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Keep Calm and Crochet On, Yarny Bobs and Dear Ewe will be vending together at the first Stafford Wool Gathering 2025 this October! 🎉

It will be me, together with my lovely mum, behind the stand — bringing yarn, crochet goodies, and good chat to all who visit.

Why We’re Doing This

For us, this is more than just another market — it’s about getting out on the road, meeting new people, and soaking up the buzz of the yarn community. Both mum and I love nothing more than chatting with fellow makers, swapping stories, and sharing our passion for all things yarny. The Stafford Wool Gathering feels like it will be a great place to do just that, bringing together friendly faces, creative energy, and a real celebration of fibre arts.

We’re so excited to share:

  • Show specials — reduced-price items, bundles, one-off deals, little surprises
  • Brand new releases — new products, new crochet kits and patterns and limited editions that you won’t have seen before.
  • Lots of yarny goodness, inspiration, and joy

It will be a real pleasure to meet you in person, share ideas, hear your WIP stories, and help you choose yarn or notions you might not have seen before.

At the show you can expect over 100 exhibitors showcasing their skills and offering everything you need. Or you might also wish to take part in the range of workshops on offer to learn and improve on your own skills.

We hope you’ll pop by on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th October 2025 (Saturday – 10am-4.30pm, Sunday – 11am-4pm) at Staffordshire County Showground. You can find out how to purchase tickets on the Staffordshire Wool Gathering website.

After Stafford — On to Trentham Makers Market in November

Once October’s excitement settles, we’ll be turning our eyes to Trentham Makers Market in November, held in the Trentham Shopping Village.

This is a wonderful regular artisan market showcasing local craft, art, food & drink, and original work. This will be a return visit for us and although the makers markets runs on various weekends through out the year we’ll be there for Christmas Makers Market on Saturday 29 November and Sunday 30 November only.

We’ll bring along favourites (and show specials) plus our new releases so you’ll have another chance to see and purchase if you can’t make October’s event. It’s going to be me and mum again, running the stall, chatting yarn, telling tales, helping you pick your next project, and bringing joy to the market floor.

We hope to see you there, whether you’re local or travelling in. Come and say hello, browse, quiz us, pick up something new, and share the love of crafts.

Until next time folks! Happy hooking, keep calm and crochet on my friends xx
