The days are getting shorter, the evenings cooler, and I’m absolutely ready to pull up a favourite chair, wrap myself in yarny goodness and indulge in that cosy, content-feeling known as hygge. If you know me, you know I believe in the power of hooking to help make the world slow down for a short time.

That’s why I’m so excited to join this year’s Hygge blog-hop, curated by Green Fox Farm Designs, to celebrate all things handcrafted comfort. The hop is here to emphasise the warmth, the calm, the slower rhythms of life, and of course the loveliest crochet patterns to match.

The word hygge (Scandinavian in origin) evokes that feeling of cosiness, comfort and contentment, and what better way to honour it than with a crochet hook in hand, yarn under your fingers, and the world outside slipping away in mindful quiet as you stitch.
